Moving Visuals

Working with film has been a passion of mine for many years. I am drawn to experimental filmmaking, often creating works that I imagine existing beyond the screen and breathing within a physical space. Many of my films are conceived as installations, where image, sound, light, and environment come together to create an experience rather than simply a narrative. Interaction is an important element of my practice, inviting viewers to slow down, engage, and become part of the work itself.

Arwind (2026) - Experimental Film

I am interested in self-reflection as an inherent human capacity, one that has long been central to philosophical thought. The concept of a society which enacts after self reflection can, at the moment, be considered as a utopian vision. From the idea of experience of “no-self” (anattā), the practice of Daoist meditation in its original form,  zhuo wang "sitting and forgetting," shou yi "guarding unity," or jing zuo meaning simply "sitting in silence” and the Greek principle of gnōthi seauton (“know thyself”), I see reflection not as a modern concept but as a continuous human inquiry.

My work asks how these ideas translate today, when attention is fragmented and perception is constantly redirected. Time spent in nature and practices of meditation inform my process, where looking becomes a form of slowing down rather than recording. Through image, light, and material, I create spaces where attention can turn inward and outward at once.

Luna is watching (2026)

Collaborator - Omar Juarez

Presented in a group exhibition on the theme 'Selenomania' at Paris college of Art

An experimental film collaboration with Omar Juarez that reflects on the current political climate across the world and its growing urgency. The work positions the moon as a silent yet conscious witness, slowly observing human conflict, instability, and fragmentation from a distance. As the narrative unfolds, the moon becomes more than an observer; it begins to subtly react, mirroring the emotional weight and tension on Earth. Through shifting imagery and atmospheric pacing, the film explores the disconnect between humanity’s chaos and the quiet permanence of the cosmos. At its core, it asks for a return to empathy, urging a rediscovery of humanity within systems that often forget it.
